GERMAN MISSLE SYSTEM HAS BEEN HACKED

CREDIT: The Hacker News

This is something everyone should be afraid of; imagine that hackers possess total control of missiles!!
Gosh!! It will be an awful experience.

A German patriot anti-aircraft stationed on Turkish system borders was as reported, hacked, after which an unknown “foreign source” took over the controls who successfully explained unexplained commands.
-
Attacks on the patriot missile system where detected when “unexplained” orders were given to the weapons via two supposed weak spots.
Behorden Spiegi; German trade publication reported that the American made missile system was accessed through either a real time information exchange that provides communication between arms and commands or a computer chip that directs weapons guidance.
It was speculated by the above publications, that the hackers may have stolen sensitive information and accessed missile control that could result to a missile firing to an unintended target.
however, theses said allegations was denied by a spokesman for the general Ministry of defense on grounds that it lacks evidence and calling it ‘extremely unlikely’
